Yaya Toure will be offered the chance to remain at Manchester City in an ambassadorial capacity when his playing days are over, according to the Mirror.  The Ivory Coast midfielder is contracted at City until 2017 and is likely to earn another playing deal before then, but the club’s hierarchy are keen to offer him a separate role once he has hung up his boots.  Toure moved to the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2010, and has since racked up two hundred and ten appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring sixty-one goals.  He was a stand-out performer in both the title winning seasons on 2011/12 and 2013/14, while he also hit the winner in the FA Cup final victory over Stoke City in 2011 and scored in the League Cup final win over Sunderland twelve months ago.  Internationally, he has nineteen goals in ninety-five outings for his country, and was part of their Africa Cup of Nations winning squad earlier this year.

Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna is considering a summer exit, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Frenchman only joined the Citizens last summer as he arrived on a free transfer from Arsenal, but he has been frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities.
With Pablo Zabaleta an undisputed starter on the right flank, the 32-year-old has only made eight Premier League appearances this season.
And with his status at the club unlikely to improve any tim-e soon, Sagna is reportedly considering his options.
The Daily Mirror has learned that AS Roma are showing interest in the full-back’s services and could offer him an escape route from Etihad in the summer.
Sagna decided to leave Arsenal some nine months ago despite finally lifting the first trophy of his career and he has found it hard to prove his worth at Manchester City.
The Frenchman has, however, kept his place in the national team and started les Bleus’ last fixture againstSweden.
